SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) payments are transactions made through an intermediary bank that allows you to send/receive electronic payments internationally.
The SWIFT network doesn't actually transfer funds, nor is it a banking system, Rather, it sends payment orders between banks using SWIFT codes.
Does Token.io support SWIFT payments?
Token.io currently does not support payments using SWIFT. Previous to the 21st of March, these were supported on a preliminary level. Due to high fees and conversion charges applied to such payments, as well as a low rate of adoption internationally, and a poor user experience, Token.io has opted to no longer provide SWIFT capabilities.
